AIIMS Exam For 2017-Introduction and Eligibility

AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Science. This AIIMS entrance exam is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam which is for taking admission in MBBS. There are only seven colleges of AIIMS MBBS course in all over India like Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Raipur, and Bhubaneswar. This exam is computer based only. 

There are approximately 80000-100000 candidate fill the entrance exam form. But There are total 672 seats are available in all over colleges. The exam pattern follows the MCQ pattern. There will be total 200 questions. Each question carry one mark there will be negative marking in the question paper.1/3^rd marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. The exam duration is 3.30 Hours and the subjects included are Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany), General Knowledge. The AIIMS Entrance exam will be in Hindi or English.

                The fees structure will depend upon category for General/OBC Category fees Rs.1000/- and for SC/ST candidate feesRs.800/-.  Candidate should have passed the 12^th class. The minimum aggregate of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English 60% for General and OBC candidates,50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidate who does not satisfy the criteria they should not appear in the exam.  The minimum age limit for this AIIMS entrance exam is minimum seventeen years and maximum twenty-five years. There is no limitation for giving this exam .we give this AIIMS entrance exam in between the age limit.
